actually its much more readable than the first - much. if you guage readability
as to how much the unlit overleayed number shapes break up/block the shape
behind - the first example literally has full black "obsucre" lines - the clock
in e17 is at 50% transparency, so its much better already. :) it's closer to
the 2nd and 3rd one.
