That would be cool, Qt can do that with a combination of its threads and signal, slot mechanism. If you have a signal connected to a slot in a different thread, when the signal is triggered the slot is called the next time it's thread runs through the event loop. Stuff like that makes writing threaded code quite sane and relatively easy.
