Contributors mostly discussing under the Phabricator system. It's not strange at all even if they don't reveal themselves in the mailing list or irc. (And Still he is on the irc) And I agree on the cedric. commit access per repositories will interrupt the development speed even if it has the some good reason. Because i don't think we have enough developers compared to the projects. It may be a big change and a lot of work for Tom (+1 :P) but I really think it is mandatory as we have more and more applications and tools that are not related to the core.
