No it isn't. Just because you don't understand it or agree with it doesn't make it stupid. In fact, the guy is right. Unfortunately, raster is also right -- there are far too many ignorant, lazy, and/or careless users who cannot take the 2 seconds required to check the destination for the reply they're composing. This discussion has reached near-religious status, and it will never ever be settled. Fortunately my e-mail client is intelligent enough to reasonably cope with both settings. When I hit reply, it asks whether or not to honor the reply-to header. Or I can hit group-reply or list-reply to enforce the alternate behavior. So, to those of you complaining about the old behavior without the reply-to header pointing to the list, I have this to say: Get a reasonable mail client and learn to use it properly.
