Are you sure that it isn't X what hangs? A few weeks ago I had a similar problem. It occurred directly after xinit and wasn't reproducible. It hit me perhaps every tenth time. After the switch from xorg to xorg-snap it didn't happen again. Fabian -- http://www.fabiankeil.de/
