Ciao Massimo, Yeah, the application menu is not localized unless you install the "menu-xdg" package and select the Debian app menu at the very beginning (wizard screens...). Installing the "kubuntu-desktop" meta-package does the trick too (then select the kde4 app menu...). On Ubuntu 10.10, the "pcmanfm" package drags in the lxde menu that comes with correct localization.
