Hi everyone, now, how would I have to modify the default theme in order to stop window title-bar animation?
I am not shy of editing a config file, but in this case I am not yet able to find the relevant piece of code... Well, I just dared to take a look into the default theme definition. I still consider myself a newbie, regarding e17, so I had to find out, how to do this first. ;) So I copied the file /usr/share/enlightenment/data/themes/default.edj to ~/.e/e/themes, then cd'ed into this directory and used $ edj_decc default.edj to disassemble the file. A directory "default" with lots of image files and one file default.edc was created. I cd'ed into it and opened default.edc with my favourite text editor. And that's where I am lost. I would confirm, that the file is well documented, for the most part, and that the online reference is certainly helpful. However, as a noob, I have yet to climb one more hill, it seems, as I am unable to identify the relevant spot in the default.edc file. In fact, I changed a couple of things, closed my editor and re-assembled the default.edj file. Then I opened the settings dialog and selected the default theme, but this time as a user theme, not as a system theme. Effect: None, that I would have noticed... :( So, can anyone explain, which lines of code determine, that window title-bars are inverted using an animation in the default theme, so that I can change that (switch it off), but leave everything else as it is (as I really like the default theme, apart from that one detail), please? Thanks a lot for your patience, again!
