Thanks, Carsten, for taking the time and explaining all this. Much 
appreciated!

I guess, flexibility always has a price, and it's time and effort in this case. 
But after several months of occasional use of e17, I think, e is worth it, not 
only because it is good, but also because there's always a helping hand here 
in this forum, if someone needs it. A friendly community and helpful 
developers are a huge asset of any open source project!

But now: Thanks a lot, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Keep up the 
excellent work --- I am looking forward to an official release in 2012. ;)
