hello all,
I am new to this list. I am a fvwm user and I was looking if enlightenment is a
good replacement. I have been doing this for the past week, but I am not
convinced.
There are so many open ends and questions that are unanswered in the
documentation that I am unsure.
Because I have a feeling I probably have to put a bit more energy into it, I
ask some questions here, if it is all right by the list.
- is it sensible to use e16 directly as window manager or do I have to use an
extra layer on top of it?
- is e16 still used/ supported?
- e16 seems to support convenient user configurable menu's whereas e17 seems to
lack it. In e17, I found among the possible key bindings an action labelled
'Show menu....'
Is there some documentation on it, or can someone explain how it can be used?
