Is there some documentation on it, or can someone > explain how it can be used? you'll need to be more specific here. what do you want to do with menus? e17 has 6 menus it knows about right now. main, favorites, all, clients, lost_clients and configuration. by default left mouse on desktop is configured to show the main menu and middle mouse the clients menu. you can reconfigure bindings (mouse and keyboard) to show any of these named menus. there are pre-defined actions for showing favorites, all, clients and main menu. the window menu too actually but its context-dependent. the favorites menu is configurable by the user - it shows the list of favorite apps to launch. you can create "apps" that run any command you like - create a new desktop file. there's configu dialogs in the apps menu under personal app launchers. you can configure the favorite applications list from the "favorite applications" gui dialog (select what is in it and the order). if you truly want a custom nested menu - then the system applications menu is for that. it allows u to select which menu to use - you can create your own but its an xml file u have to make and its a pain - almost no one needs such a thing so its manual - no worse than fvwm. this can define a list of desktop files like favorites as well as categories and more. > thanks for helping me, Rudd > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Don't let slow site performance ruin your business.
