Yes, that's right - by default your system probably has the default
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/x86_64-linux-gnu.conf, which takes care of this for
/usr.  Based on the previous emails, you just need to add
/opt/e17/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu in another file under that dir and re-run
ldconfig.

Just FYI - unless you need openssl or wayland, the efl & e packages in
Debian experimental should work well on buster.
