Yes, it has.

Indeed I have a file under /etc/ld.so.conf.d made by me just to add
/opt/e17/lib to dirs searched by ld.so, I'll put it there so I can build
even with the default libdir.

I usually build from source to test the current state of
internazionalization in git.
