I only code a bit (mostly shell/Perl/Ruby), so there's not much I can do with
the code, but I'm willing to write documentation, if that'll help.
Maybe just turning the widget off in live view mode (or giving the user
the option to turn it off) would be the simplest thing.
Ah yes, I didn't realize you meant the flickering in live view mode.
That is because the files being downloaded are so small there is
not much progress to display & we download 20 odd per second. We
can clearly disable the progess display during live view
Sorry, I meant to indicate I was seeing it in live view mode.
And I figured it must be something like that (downloaded a bunch of
frames/files a second).
