I haven't read all the items in this chain so forgive me if this has
already been suggested or doesn't apply to your particular auth error. We were
having issues with radius authentication and 8021X over wireless awhile back
until I made one change on the IAS server (Framed-MTU 1344). The specific issue
we were having was related to PEAP/MSCHAPv2 and/orcertificates getting
fragmented and probably parts getting dropped through the wireless tunnel even
with valid authentication from IAS.

We are not having this issue, but do see that error periodically.
We've increased the timeouts for radius response to 7 seconds which helped
some. We are using IAS for radius and disabling the full sending of trusted
root certificates from the radius server. It tremendously cut down the volume
of information that the radius request needs to send and made everything much
faster however we do still see that error periodically. we are not seeing the
specific problem however.

It's described as 'workaround method 3' in the following KB article. Not sure
if similar procedures are available for other radius servers.

Interesting, does anyone of you also have messages like that one below?

06/04/12 14:23:37 Critical Radius Client Radius server available for WLAN
service : 8021x.
06/04/12 14:22:48 Critical Radius Client No radius server available for WLAN
service : 8021x Client [74:e1:b6:ad:10:06].

I´m getting dozens of those each day. Running 08.11.02.0023 and AP3610.
My users use the same (radius/active directory) server. Only my wifi users do
have problems...
