Hi, The netsight latency with snmp redirection appeared with netsight 4.3.
All comparative tests do not show any problem with earlier versions, this is why some people are complaining about this new behaviour. There are many snmp requests going on if you try to retrieve port information from a switch for many ports. Let's say 480 snmp requests for 10 stats about 48 ports. 480x 1ms = 480 ms to get the information from switches within a LAN. If your client is remote with a round-trip time of 120ms to netsight or netsight to device, that makes 480x 120ms = 57,6 seconds until information is retrieved. This is not a problem or issue of netsight. Hope this helps.
