I so often find myself (after only 2 days) opening the Unread Messages view
that I wanted a key to do it for me. I wrote a one line script and assigned
it a keyboard shortcut; works great.
Copy this one-line script into Script Editor:
tell application "Microsoft Entourage" to open custom view "Unread Messages"
Save it with the name "Open Unread Messages\mcU"
The last keystrokes assign the shortcut Command-Control-U to this script; it
will open the view for you lickety-split. Beats scrolling down to it in the
folder view panel!
