I'm not sure what you mean, it has nothing to do with your phone. Acid Jazz
works for me. I tried holding my phone (off hook) to the speaker, and it
dialed the number just fine. (We have two lines in the house; I called on
one and rang the second.) I then set "port modem" and tried again, and that
works too. The only glitch I ran into with modem dialing was that I had to
pick up the phone as soon as dialing began, or at the latest when the first
ring came, or Acid Jazz just hangs up.

I did not change anything in my Remote Access or Modem control panels,
except when I was experimenting trying to handle the need to dial our local
area codes for local calls.
