That's it! That means that the phone has to be right next to the computer
(which it is). So what's the advantage? I might as well dial (push-button)
the number myself without the panic of having to pick up the phone right
away. (And I mean _right away_.) When I dial myself, I usually use the
speaker-phone, so I don't have to pick it up until/unless someone answers.
That's a lot more convenient than having to: 1) rush to pick up the phone as
soon as it finishes dialing through the modem, or 2) HOLD THE PHONE TO THE
SPEAKER (???!!!) .
I really don't see the advantage of this system, nor why so many people seem
to want it. I quite understand why they didn't bother implementing it in
Entourage. Can it work any better than Acid Jazz does it, in other PIMs for
example? If so, OK. If not, who needs it?
