Let me put it another way:

If you're in the Finder (not Entourage), and you press option-command-O,
does anything happen? Of course it might require certain conditions to be
present (certain folders open, or text selected, or who knows what) for it
to do something, so this is not a very wonderful test, but it might do
something. Do you have OSA menu? Check it to see if some script you put in
the Universal section has the option-command-O shortcut, too. Check the
reference (KG Macro list, OC Shortcut manager, etc.) of any macro utility
you have, or any Control Strip modules you may have installed, for the same
keyboard shortcut. I can pretty well guarantee that that's what this problem
is about.

Or just shortcut this and change the shortcut on the script: try \cmO --
control-command-O, or \cmH -- control-command-H. What happens now?
