I think the PowerMail-type option is what he was suggesting-- since there's
already an engine available, use it!
It seems that if Entourage still kept things in separate files based on
Folders, like it used to in OE 4.0, instead of a huge monolithic mail file,
the searching could be easily done via Sherlock or even BBEdit. Plus
backups were much easier back then-- just sort by date, and copy over
everything since your last backup. Now it's the entire 200MB file or
nothing. Ah well.
