Title: Re: Archiving via mailbox
In reviewing the thread, it appears that you might be able to do what you want by syncing your laptop with a Palm and then syncing the palm with the Cube.  This would update all of the calendar and address book changes from the laptop to the Cube without touching the mail.  Also if you set your laptop to leave mail on the server (if you do get any mail through the laptop) and copy yourself on any outgoing mail, you can bring those to the Cube through normal downloading.  The only thing missing is that you do not have updated mail on the laptop, but I did not see any requirement for that in your message below.

My two cents worth

Subject: Archiving via mailbox

I have been unable to get the archive to filemaker script to work for me.

My main reason for wanting to archive is to enable me to move out old mail messages that I want to keep and yet copy the MUD folder from my laptop to my Cube.  Entourage on the laptop is the primary input point for changes to the calendar and address book and I want to keep these up to date on the Cube.  However the Cube is the primary point for mail coming in and out.

If I copy the whole database from the laptop to the Cube (which is the only way because of the single database) in order to capture on the Cube the latest calendar and address data, mail messages on the Cube will be lost by being overwritten – is that not so?.

Well, what if I were first to drag the desktop mail folders to the Cube’s desktop where they they will be converted to [mailbox?] format and then copy the MUD folder over from the laptop.  Would the mail folders created on the Cube desktop survive and would I then be able to drag them back into Entourage on the Cube?

I am a bit apprehensive about trying this in case it fails.  Has anyone tried this?
