Title: Re: A few wishes
I agree with Mr. Wood about the list of tasks which show up in the calendar view.  When I first saw this, I tried to find a way to fix it.  Then, seeing that the program offered no way to fix it, I tried to remove the task pane from the calendar view, because no list at all is better than an inaccurate one.  That was also not possible.  Now, I keep a task window open in addition to the calendar view window, and just try to ignore the bad task list in the calendar view window.

More about it:  It should be possible for the task view pane to show all uncompleted tasks, including no-due-date ones, as well as completed tasks due on the current or later date.  Remember that we are talking about a due date for the task, not a do date.  Showing only current-day tasks enforces procrastination until the date on which the tasks are due.  I want to see tomorrow’s tasks today, in case I have an opportunity to get some of them completed ahead of time.

Some of these requests are personal preferences, which some users may not want.  The operative word is preferences.  We need configurable settings for the task pane of the calendar window — and the ability to eliminate any pane entirely, by dragging its divider all the way to hide it.
