I agree with many of Bill’s great suggestions. I prefer, though, to have Tasks windows to operate as most text windows currently do: Save and Close are separate.
Also: to Save and Close:
Command-S. Release the S (continue holding Command down), raise finger and push on the W, and you close the window. Super easy, great on the hands, and super fast.
Or, you can just hit cmd-W and choose the option to always save on close without asking.
