Paul,

Well, in a large volume of messages I want those from certain people (or
certain subject topics) filed in certain folders. The messages often get
filed using mail rules thematically (by project) but sometimes I want to
pull up all messages from a certain person, from whatever folder, using the
link to the Address Book.

But I want to file copies, because first I want to read the incoming traffic
in the In Folder before they get moved elsewhere and possibly missed.

In my work I receive lots of messages from various sources. It would be a
pain to manually file each one.

It's interesting that Entourage, when it makes a copy of a message, doesn't
make a complete copy. As you note, it ignores the links which I would have
thought to be a "copyable" part of the message. Guess not.

Thanks for any help!

Arch
