Does HotSync work at all, say with Palm Desktop?Interestingly, HotSync’ing with Entourage (and Palm Desktop, for that matter) works fine when I do it via infrared. This is the first time I’ve ever tried it using the cradle and the serial port, and I’m at a loss to explain why it isn’t working. I don’t have any fax software or any other extensions that would butt heads with HotSync. So I don’t think this is really even an Entourage-specific issue, but I thought I would throw it out there in case I was missing something glaringly obvious.
Yes, the two names are identical.
Are you sure the Identity name and the Palm name are exactly the same?
I’ve tried giving the Conduit Manager 80MB of RAM, but that didn’t change anything. I suppose I could continue using the infrared synch, but it’s often hard to align the beam, not to mention the extra drain on the batteries.
