Justin,
I got mine to work fine with my Visor this way:
1. Uninstall Palm Desktop
2. Install Palm Desktop 2.6.1
3. Give Conduit Manager at least 32MB RAM
4. Give HotSync Manager at least 32MB RAM
5. Make sure the conduits folder has ONLY the conduits you wish to sync. If
you use Entourage for Address and ToDos, then make sure the Palm Desktop
conduits are removed, and the Entourage one is in the conduits folder, you
may need to do a custom install from the Office 2001 cd to get the Entourage
conduits again.
6. For USB sync, make sure you have the latest USB extension if add-in card
is used, and that you have the latest USB updates from Apple (if you use an
iMac or other USB equipped Mac. (If Entourage and Palm Desktop are having
problems, I think there is something wacky with your USB setup.)
7. Reset PRAM, Rebuild your desktop.
8. Hotsync your PDA.
It worked finally for me... I use E'rage for Address Book, Meeting Maker for
Appts, and E'rage for ToDos. Both USB and Infrared work.
