There is no way, but a script I am about to release soon (Category Group
2.0) will let you make groups (by category) which can include contacts who
don't have email addresses. (You can't do that in Entourage now. Try it.)
And another (Sort by Field 2.0) similarly to make groups sorted by other
fields, in sort order, also to include contacts without email addresses.
You can then treat the different groups so made as so many different address
books, just as you're requesting. Un update to my Group Sort script will put
them all, including the non-email contacts, into alphabetical order by
surname (Entourage can't do that either).
Since that might create problems if you then tried to email the group, I'm
including also a new script Normalize Groups, which will either put them
back to just-email-contacts, or will make you a parallel email-only group
subset of your full group so you can have both.
I will release all these scripts when I have finished (almost done) my new
Word Form Letter script and an update to George Clarks' MultiEnvelope
script, so you can also process individualized form letters with
personalized addresses and salutations, and envelopes (maybe labels too) to
any of these groups (plus selected contacts as well).
I think I'm going to call the whole collection "Office for Office". Almost
done. I'll keep you posted.
