OK, I got the script working (and removed the loop with Paul's help), but
now we hit a snag.
Running the script as the result of a rule prevents other rules from
running. Also, if a message is caught by a MLM entry, then rules won't run
unless I apply rules to all the messages for that MLM entry.
What I need to do is pick up every message that has my <barryw at mac.com>
address in the recipients field and change the account to the mac.com POP
Account. This is because I have this mac.com account set to forward mail to
my btinternet account. So, mail arrives at Entourage from the btinternet
account and any replies will, unless I remember to change them, go out from
btinternet.
This was accomplished quite easily by a 'pass through' filter in Eudora
which simply said:
If <any recipient> contains <barryw at mac.com>
Set personality to <mac.com>
This filter appeared at the top of the list, before any of the other filters
grabbed hold of the message and everything worked well.
Please, is there any way to carry out a similar task in e'rage?
I have a feeling there must be a simple work-around that will help, but I
can't spot it.
