And no again - this is one of the biggest lacks in Entourage and OE
scripting. I believe it's also "on the list" for some time in the future. On
the bright side, Rules can usually be rewritten as one-line scripts, so you
really could go though all you rules by a substituting a reasonably short
script that replicates everything that your rules do - probably more
efficiently too (better boolean combinations of conditions than rules can
manage). And run it from a Rule or a Schedule.

But I'm not quite sure I understand here:

I think you'll find that if <any recipient> contains <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> then that
is the same thing as <account> is <mac.com>, I know you're redirecting
messages from one account to another, but as far as Entourage is concerned,
the "account" of an incoming message is the account whose address is that of
the recipient. I don't think you can change that: recipients are the one
thing that you can't change in a message (as opposed to a draft window). You
just can't do it. It's very annoying that you can't do it with outgoing
messages, but I never thought of trying it with incoming messages. Have you
tried? I think you'll find that it can't be done. And if you can't change
the recipient from one of your email addresses to another, you can't change
the account, nor, therefore, where it's going to reply from.

I think you're snookered from all angles here, Barry. A schedule to change
the account of a draft window reply under certain conditions is the best you
can do.
