I have custom views set up to show me the following:
1. All messages that are digests (subject contains "digest" and does not
start with "re:")
2. I have tasks categorized (e.g. "Work", "Household", etc) and have several
views that show tasks only in a single category. I use it most on weekends
so I don't have to look at work tasks. :-)
3. Flagged messages.
4. Important mail. This is unread mail that is NOT from me, from a mailing
list, junk, and any other criteria that identify unimportant mail.
5. Mail I sent today. A way to retrieve a message sent earlier in the day
when I've forgotten where I filed it in my 85 folders. I have a group called
"My Addresses" that contains all my various E-mail addresses; the criteria
for the view are "From" is in that group, and date is less than one day old.
