Dear All,
Any message I have sent and others I have received, are found using
Custom Views Unread Messages, all 818 messages. Some Received
messages have somehow been marked as Sent, by Entourage rather than
being received. I open these messages and read them but the status
does not change, I still have these 818 messages marked as Unread.
I mark these All as Read, by highlighting a Group of Them and and by
using Command A to select all messages and when I close the Custom
Views Unread Messages and reopen it, guess what all 812 messages
appear again.
Why can't I mark these messages as read.
I have done a Typical Rebuild and an Advanced Rebuild of the Database
and it didn't make any difference.
Messages I have sent and received that Entourage thinks I have sent
appear in Bold:
Is this to indicate they are sent messages;
Sent by me;
I was the creator of the message.
The majority of these messages have been imported from Eudora Pro version 5.0.
At the moment I am running Entourage and Eudora in parallel until I
get used to Entourage.
Entourage seems to take about 50% longer to download the same
messages, as Eudora does. Any comments on the download speed, I use a
56 k Modem and usually connect at 49,333 bytes per second. (whatever
it is)
I am running OS 9.04 on a PowerMac 7220/200 (sold in the US as a 4400
I believe), with 112 MB of RAM, 113 MB of Virtual Memory and have
allocated minimum of 15144 K and preferred of 23842 K to Entourage.
