I've noticed that Entourage's "Unread Messages" will also dredge up <unsent>
messages. Try selecting those messages and running this script, which sets
both the read and sent status flags:
tell application "Outlook Express"
set theMsgs to the current messages
repeat with theMsg in theMsgs
set the read status of theMsg to read
if class of theMsg is outgoing message then set the delivery status
of theMsg to sent
end repeat
end tell
