Just hold down the option key when launching Entourage and choose rebuild database from the menu

Subject: Entourage Blues
Just experienced a very unpleasant encounter with Entourage. My PowerBook crashed. . .after a restart the Entourage Database file appears to be corrupt. It now reports a 0 K file size and Erage reports an end of file error when launching the application. A rebuild (simple and complex) generated no results. Has anyone seen this? I have now lost all contacts, calendar info and e-mail messages. Of course, I have not backed up for some time (2 months, ouch!). Oddly enough, the messages file appears to have all the info but without the database file working, it doesn’t appear that I can re-import my messages.
Any help would be appreciated.
Tried that, didn’t work. End of file error.
