What do you mean?  If you are refering to what happens when you select a script from the script menu with the option key down, it just asks the Finder to open it, so it will open in whatever script editor you used to create the script.  Just change the creator of the files.

Wow.  I never figured that out.  It seems that ALL of the scripts that I’ve gotten for Entourage from various places were all created with Apple’s Script Editor—what are the odds of that happening?  Opened and saved one from Scripter and bada-bada bing.  
That being said, I’d still like to see that pref a la Mailsmith or OSA Menu since this is a feature request not a feature demand. Forcing types to a particular editor suits my way of working much more.
On the bright side for y’all, I’m almost weaned off of Mailsmith.  If only searching was even remotely as good....
