I'll chime in to agree that Smile is my favorite script editor AND IT IS
FREE (although I am about to try out Scripter, which costs bucks). I, too,
develop nearly all my scripts in Smile. Sometimes I code in Script Editor,
particularly when I'm cribbing from a script written in SE and don't want to
bother launching another app, and the changes are simple. For anything more
than a few lines, I go to Smile. It's great.
