Entourage Slow down

Friends-

Anyone have any problem with Entourage slowing way down??  It crawls when I
open a new message and takes what seems forever opening the To: box. I have
a longish list but not that long- maybe 800 names. I have tried to do both
the short and long rebuilds but that does not affect the speed. I tried
giving much more memory to no avail.

I asked at the Microsoft booth at Mac World and all they could say was to
ask my question on this list.

\Can anyone help??? Pretty please.
