If I open the Monitor-CP and pick Geometry->Height/Width it's possible to
change the size (height & width) of the entire screnn-picture. On my screen
there is a black edge and using this CP I can get the picture to fit all the
way to the black edges instead of having a (very) dark grey edge between the
picture and the black edge.
I'm not sure how to explain it more specifically.
Does this get you any closer?
