Title: Cleaning out old Outlook Express items
As a change of pace from the reverting to Outlook Express thread, I would like to ask the opposite question.

I have switched to Entourage this week and, assuming all goes well, would like to safely remove the old Outlook Express installation. Therefore my questions:
  1. What folders & files should I delete from the Microsoft User Data folder in Documents?
  2. I assume that I can delete the entire Outlook 5.02 folder containing the Outlook Express application – please confirm.
  3. What extensions, control panels, and help files/folders can be deleted?
  4. Are there any other locations that files were installed to that should be deleted?
  5. What is the complete list of file descriptions, mime types, PC file type, and type and creator codes associated with Outlook Express that should be removed from File Exchange?
  6. What is the complete list of file descriptions, mime types, PC file type, and type and creator codes associated with Entourage that should be added to File Exchange?
