That works when I have the larger list that I can choose from; however when
I'm only restricted to the three choices, "Recommended" is the only option.
I think it has something to do with the way the OS boots up.  The original
happy face and the Welcome to MacOS 9.1 screens are at low resolution.  Then
the screen will flash and either come back at a higher resolution (all is
well) or stay at the low resolution (and I am stuck).  This start at low
resolution behavior was there with OS 8.6, but it always flashed to the
higher resolution to complete the boot-up.
