Title: Entourage crashing on "rest"

It seems I'm not the only one, so I'm starting a new thread on this...

Observation: Entourage crashes when you stop working for a few minutes, primarily when it's in "offline" mode.

OK, all jokes aside of the PowerBook or Entourage 'knowing' when you're ignoring it, this mysterious crash just happened again this morning. I was working away just fine, no problem, reading morning mail, and I stopped typing for about 3-5 minutes (didn't move the book off my lap or nuthin') to talk to someone, and turned back to a frozen computer. Cursor and mouse gone, no response to force quit; three finger salute is the only fix.

This leads me to believe that there is something that 'rests' in Entourage after a few minute of inactivity. I know this makes no sense... (this has happened both on power and on battery, so I don't think it's a PowerBook cycle-rest issue). The only other thing I can think of is that my schedule is set to check mail every 3 minutes. I usually put it into offline mode when I'm on battery and not online, as otherwise every 3 minutes Entourage checks for a connection and spins the hard drive up. Is there maybe something happening that has to do with the schedule, even though it's in offline mode?

One thing I've tried is leaving it in online mode, and deactivating my 3-minute schedule. I think that worked, but I haven't been religious about it – it's a pain to do each time. And to make matters worse, this seems to happen more (only?, not sure...) when Explorer is running as well.

call me confused.... and frustrated. Maybe with the collective experience here we can nail this one down?
