When I was considering running Mac OS X beta, I was planning to buy a
machine to run just it, keeping it well away from my primary machine (which
can't run Mac OS X).
Hopefully, no one took a mission-critical machine and put Mac OS X beta on
it (except possibly putting the CD down on the machine for a moment).
I probably will buy a new machine now (ie, soon), and run Mac OS X 1.0 on
it. But it won't be my primary machine for a while.
