Glad that helped. I should have mentioned the prefs.  Go back to Sherlock and check out that the TheSettingsVolumeFolder is actually on your startup hard disk, or else let me know where it is.

In AppleScript, the Finder can't see this invisible folder. But AppleScript itself can. Since we can't use the Finder, the easiest way to do this is if you install the scripting addition "Akua Sweets" in the Scripting Additions folder in your System folder. If you don't have it, you can get it (free) at

We don't want to trash all your files there because there are some important files in there. Akua can both find all the script downloads (including extra copies), it can also move them to the trash.
Now open Script Editor and paste in this script, the check syntax and run it:

-------
set volSetFolder to alias (((path to startup disk) as string) & "TheVolumeSettingsFolder")
set lostFiles to the entries in volSetFolder whose names match "Add Sender to Group*" as alias
collate lostFiles with the trasher

------------

You'll find them in the Trash, and can remove any you want. If you have any more downloads there, substitute their names for "Add Sender to Group*" (leave that asterisk in here: it's what takes care of the extra copies.)
