No, of course I realize that a certain amount of testing and user feedback
shapes the evolution of software, and true to form, we never notice the
features that change that 'work' or that enhance the experience as much as
we notice the features that we miss. It's just a bit of ventful frustration
on my part whenever I encounter one of those.

Oh, puhleeze, don't even get me started the 'almost bordering on
incompetence' development efforts of the NeXTSTEP team (because that's
really what they are, aren't they?) Not much Mac mindset in that group -
starting with features that are more of a burden, and ending with almost
total lack of respect for user feedback. Like I said, don't get me started.
