Ah.

At work, we have Windows 2000 Professional in French - I am in Montreal -
and frankly, I never checked which version of Outlook it could be. There are
message format preferences, but the Plain Text option doesn't exist on my
workstation at work.

I'll definitely have to look into the "by contact" settings, though. It
could be a workaround, though a tricky one.
