Your problem would be because Entourage can't find the font, so is
substituting the first system font it finds. Since Charcoal is not
Entourage's own default font, my guess is that it can't find any of the MS
fonts. Either that or it's just a messed up preference. Try a few others and
see what happens. If only Lucinda Grande has problems, then it's damaged or
missing, I guess. If it happens to all of them, or all that aren't system
fonts (Chicago, Charcoal, Geneva, Helvetica, Courier, Monaco and 6 others, I
think) , then Entourage isn't accessing them. One of the programmers (Dan)
could say for sure how to access them again. What happens in HTML? Can you
access all the fonts? try now. Can you get all fonts (or all except LG) in
Word? If so, then your fonts are still installed OK.
If only Entourage has problems, you could try removing your two preferences
files (which will mean resetting a lot of prefs) in your Identity folder and
in System --> Preferences --> Microsoft --> Entourage Preferences.
Otherwise, you might need to uninstall Office with the Office 2001 Remover
at MacTopia (it won't touch your messages or other data, nor rules or
schedules) and reinstalling it from the CD and SR 1. That will reinstall
your fonts in Office. Then you can reset all your prefs. This is probably
the best idea.
