The problem with #2 is if you are using threaded view. The threads that are
not opened only get the top message marked as read. Before Cmd-T, you have
to do Cmd-Right Arrow, to open all threads, and then Cmd-A <again> to select
the sub-messages, and finally Cmd-T.
In my experience, the few times I've done this, the Mark All As Read option
seemed, to me, to be faster. I wonder if anyone else has experience with
this?
