Like he said, don't edit a single instance of recurring event. It's a bad
bug if you then want to sync with Palm. You'll have to make individual
events, rather than one recurring event, so you change them later on. You
might find the script "Duplicate Calendar Events" useful for doing this. It
will let you make many individual events. I might even write a script for
replacing recurring events with many individual events so you can do it all
in one shot. The trouble with that would be that you'd have to describe the
recurrence pattern to the script since AppleScript can't read that. that
would be a big effort (on my part, particularly).
In the meantime, if you've already edited single instances of recurring
events, you'll have to delete them if you want to avoid the crashing when
you want to sync with Palm. I'll send the instructions later when I fish
them out from where they are at present.
