Again,

Thank you both. I am moving slowly to OS X. It is on my Powerbook and when I
am stuck in dreary meetings, I switch to OS X and experiment with it. (I can
take notes in BBEdit that way as well!) Keeping up with my 3 kids requires
syncing to the Palm and so I will do that eventually, realizing that it will
come. One of my kids is at UCB and he fences with someone who works at Palm,
so I will get him to point out the need, since he needs to hot sync his
fencing stuff!

I am glad to know that the parts of Entourage can be hot synced, not the
whole thing.

I guess in that light, now comes a very different question. I love the
desktop pattern I have used since Claris Organizer. Can I put that in
Entourage for the calendar? I put it in the Palm Desktop.

Second question, when backing up or when transferring to a new computer, the
user identities in the Palm Desktop are very hard to transfer. Last summer
with lots of new computers in this family and having to get two of them set
up with partitions, I did work out a system that worked to eventually get
the identity transferred. I am learning that Entourage stores a bunch of
stuff in the Documents folder. Does this create the same kind of problems
when you go to a new machine?

Thank you again.

Allen Watson caused electrons to fence in cyberspace with:

> Paul's right here...I somehow missed your mention that this was with OS X!
