Did you think of rebuilding the database in Entourage 2001 before exporting the second time? Importing a corrupt database can lead to all sorts of problems. When you see things going wrong, instead of saying "oh well" and trying to rearrange it, or deleting just part of a database (the folders and messages), re-importing them, and then trying to rearrange that with other things from the earlier import, it was probably a sign that something really was wrong.
I'd suggest going back to 2001, doing an Advanced Rebuild there, opening a fresh identity in X and doing an Import again. -- Paul Berkowitz > From: Roland Hannes Niedner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Fri, 28 Dec 2001 10:27:05 -0800 > To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Entourage Bugs > > Sorry about this long post, but it was also big trouble and I hope that the > feedback helps to improve the product or give me hints to understand my > errors. > > When I first completed the import of my old settings from Entourage 2001 I > had all import options checked.
