Actually, I did rebuild the Entourage 2001 database (but not the advanced
option) before the second import for the reasons you just described. This
was the import before Entourage refused to wake up the next morning. I did
not create a new identity since I had already received email and made
additional contacts in Entourage X. But you are definitely right. Should it
fail on me again I will start from scratch.
